I've seen and owned a bunch of Old Judges that have a hole punched in them.
Sometimes a hole, sometimes a strange triangle shaped hole punch, about the size of a half of a pencil eraser. My question is that sometimes I've seen these graded as a PSA SGC 10/1 and sometimes as an AUTH. Any thoughts on if these should actually receive number grades or not? After all they are altered in their current state. Last edited by cozmokramer; 08-07-2011 at 01:21 PM. |

I would agree that a 'A' would be better. Any alteration, should be given a 'A'. But what about paper loss on the back when a card was 'altered' into a scrapbook? I guess a 'A' and a '10' are similar. Buy the card not the slab either way. I'd take a beautiful 'A' with a slight trim or hole vs. a beat up 10. Just my opinion.
