Plz trust me I tried to do a search on this topic but I came up with a lot of scanner recommendations but could not pinpoint and All-In-One Scanners i.e. I want to print/copy with my scanner choice. I would also like a scanner that can scan through graded cards and also not crush the holder while scanning if possible....
In short, looking for a Printers/Scanner for around $100. Thanks. Here is a list of Canons on Amazon, any suggestions here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...non+All+In+One |

No matter WHAT you get, make SURE the scanning element is a CCD & NOT a CIS or you will be very disappointed when you scan graded cards or ANYTHING that isn't a flat item.
I don't know that you can get an all-in-one for $100 tho. Several here have the Canon 8800 & I believe it is a CCD, but it's also a flatbed scanner, not an all-in-one.

Mine sucked and in fact, I have had so many bad HP products over the last 10 years I will never buy anything from them again.

Can anyone recommend an All-In-One where the printer ink doesn't cost 100+ bucks every couple of months?
I have an Epson Stylus NX515. Thought I got a bargain when I first bought it, but the cost of the ink was higher then the cost of the actual machine within a couple of months. It's a real ink hog, and I discovered real quick that Epson charges quite a bit extra for cartridges that are actually full. Their standard cartridges are only half full, which is why they're not clear, like the Canon cartridges. There is no generic substitute out there for the inks either. ![]() |

Mine sucks at making scans. Gotta stick with Canon for cards.
