February Hold'em for Vintage Collectors
Tournament #2 of the 2011 Old Cardboard Texas Hold'em Series for vintage collectors begins tonight at 20:30 EST (7:30 pm Texas Time). All collectors of vintage cards and memorabilia are invited to participate.

I feel good today...finally played some decent poker and got lucky at the end (after twice giving up an all-in suck out to VanSlykeFan when heads up).

Tourney #2 Results
The results for last night's Hold'em tourney are now posted on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/pok...eaderboard.asp.
Congrats to Joshua Levine (Wite3), who took first place in the tourney and $65 of the prize pool. A very lucky Rob Miller (Vanslykefan; winner of the 2010 Series) took second place in the tourney after beating me with his pre-flop all-in and my call. Fortunately for Rob, his QQ outlasted my AK suited. Rob, just wait 'til next month. It was great fun with 13 vintage card collecting players. Hope all can join in for the March tourney. Great job Josh !!
Sorry I had to sit out entire tourney. Got "stuck" on a never ending triple stud table. Usually they last 3-4 hours, but this one went over 5 (the low stacks wouldn't bet). Anyway, I came in 3rd for $15.36. So: $15.76 - 5.50 buy-in = 10.26 - 11 old cardboard buy-in = -0.74 on the night January out in 30 seconds; February no bets in 2 hours. Hopefully in March I'll be somewhere in-between !!!!!
