My family used to watch this show when I was a kid. I know that Mays, Ted Willams, and Ty Cobb were among the other ball players featured over the years.

I used to watch the show too, and I distinctly remember watching it one Sunday night, and then finding out the next morning that panelist Dorothy Kilgallen died just a few hours after appearing live on that episode. That's one of those childhood memories that stuck with me, for no apparent reason.
