my son really likes these cards a lot and wants to get a team set. I was going to do the cubs but (stupid me) the two i have are different sets. Anyways I have the following avilable for trade:
m101-5 Seaton SGC 10 m101-4 Schulte raw multiple creases m101-4 austin - one crease m101-4 Griffith - nice front but may be trimmed Im wanting to do a team set for him from one of the two sets and either want to do the cubs, Browns, or dodgers. So basically whatever card I get next will be the team set Im going for and the other three that I have are available for trade. Hope thats not too confusing?? Im looking for poor condition cards. My only stipulation is no really really bad trims. my scanner is down but I can try to get a pic with my phone of the cards I have. Thanks for your help ![]() |

Sean,
Just a head's up--while the two sets have mostly the same players, you've chosen to chase a team set where there is a noticeable difference. M101-5 will have two HOFers that are not found in m101-4, namely Bresnahan and Chance. This will obviously increase the overall attractiveness of your set, but will cost you considerably more, especially the Chance (also two more commons than in m101-4). Sisler rookie will set you back on Browns, and if you want to be technically "full" on m101-5, you'd also need the super tough Bobby Wallace. Dodgers would likely be least expensive, although Stengel won't be cheap. |
