Holy crap. Newly graded, as the last highest one was a 7.5. Wonder where this one came from??

Guess I'm just too skeptical of these high grade cards but boy do those top and bottom borders looks a little tight to me.

Only my opinion but it does look small, as does the same seller's SGC 96 Goudey Ruth. Count me as one of those too skeptical types too.

I become skeptical of mint, newly graded pre-war cards before I even see them

I think I know where this card came from and if I am correct, many in the same collection were definitely trimmed. This card though, I remember looking pretty closely at it and I think it was just tight but within acceptable norms. If memory lane comes up with a really nice Joss, Clarke or Evers, I am sure I know where this collection came from.
