Both the Reds and the Rays clinch post season on the same day. Whoo-hoo!

It's a big deal...

Even though the Phillies will be heavily favored to win the NL Pennant, the Reds winning the Central is huge. Before the season started, it was almost unthinkable that anyone could dethrone the Cardinals. Every publication and television show had picked the Cardinals to win, hands-down.

It's great that the Reds clinched it by winning at home (rather than via a Cardinal's loss). The fact that they won it on a 9th inning walk-off homer by Bruce was icing on the cake.

Would love to see them advance in the playoffs. It will be exciting to see Aroldis Chapman pitch, and see how Votto does in the National spotlight. Go Reds!
