We spent 45 minutes at the EAST COAST NATIONAL (Westchester County
Center) this evening. Although the leading grading services and two of the top auction houses were present, the show was extremely disappointing, at best. (1) Attendance was very light (2) There were no major dealers present (3) The quality of superior material was the "weakest" we have ever witnessed at a Westchester Show-- and we have attended more than two dozen shows. (4) We did not find a single high grade E Card ( 7 or above)- most of the T cards were T-206's ranging from ungraded to a few 5,6's (5) There was only one reasonably interesting piece of memorabilia. If you are collector who demands the best, skip this show Bruce Dorskind America's Toughest Want List |
