I believe you meant Salmon P. Chase, NOT Samuel Chase. (At least that't what they taught us at the community college!)
However Samuel Chase is the only US Supreme Court Justice to have been impeached. He was found "Not Guilty" and returned to the bench.

(Out of politeness, I won't bother correcting the other, duplicated BST posts, but feel free to correct them all.)

Maybe he just meant 'The Chase' that terrible movie with Charlie sheen and kristy Swanson.

Or how about hal chase? Can we get a pink background on that 10000 dollar bill?

Jim- I finally figured out why you said I was late on the other thread. Didn't realize Bruce posted this same list three times. Now it makes sense.

While you all were correcting Bruce's posts, I just closed 43 deals on impossibly high grade pre-war cards.

And now let me correct yours.
Change ""while" to "whilst".
Change "I" to "we".

If it was "we," he could have closed 86 or even 129 deals. Alas, Matt is just "I."

(And for the record, Bruce gets EXACTLY, what he wants, as we, continuously, bump his thread.)

Default Food For Thought

Whilst, you, your fellow low-life red necks and other "sorted" followers
would not know or appreciate an ultra rare high grade card if you fell on it,
we take comfort in knowing that you are probably consuming high grade
spam...

Keep firing Jim- your hot air does nothing except add to the hot, dirty air which emanates from the poison gas that you spew

It's "sordid" you moron, not "sorted." And they're not "followers." They are "henchmen."

Edited to add: I used to be greatly concerned about the state of public education in this country. While that hasn't eased much, I am growing increasingly fearful of the failures of the Ivy League.

Matt, please say something smart to make me feel better!

Jim -I wasn't tenured at Wharton like Bruce were. Something happens to your IQ once you get tenured.

In all seriousness, I'm confident the education one receives in the Ivys is the same as that received from public universities. The two key differences from my point of view are that it looks good on my resume and that I've got a network of friends who also have it looking good on their resumes.

I was tenured at an Ivy League college (which one doesn't matter), however, I still have faith in the education system of today. Many would say (including my wife) that something DID happen once I was tenured, it went down

With that being said, it hasn't changed my opinion or love for the hobby (somehow related to why my wife feels my IQ has dropped when I start talking about "baseball cards", but someday she will come around, hopefully) .
