1940s/50s Baseball Candy/Nut Dish
Here's a nifty vintage baseball item from the 1940s/50s... A heavy China Dish with a nicely depicted "double play" scene. Looks like the Reds vs. Dodgers, but this piece is generic in nature.
This highly glazed ceramic piece is very well executed and is hand painted. A very attractive piece that captures the feel of baseball's golden era. There are no chips or cracks, and just some expected wear to the gold rim. This beautiful piece easily grades EX/MT, and is rare. A great addition to any baseball collection.
