Default anything can be a card?

Well, the definition of "card" is a relative term. That being said those look like pages 171 and 172 of a magazine to me. I would say if those are on regular magazine paper I would probably not consider them cards. That's just me though...and I am fairly loose on my "card" definition (so I can collect more, of course )

Not quite as there is no indication of an intent to have them cut out as cards.

BTW, pretty nervy of them to put their balls right over the plate

Default No instructions to cut out and save 'em

To me, if the item had instructions to "cut out and save 'em for your scrap book!" or maybe it had words to the effect that they were "part of a series of ballplayers to be cut out and collected," then we'd be in business! Absent that, the pages are interesting (maybe framable?) sports memorabilia.

Looks like the Mathewson pic is the same one used on the W555 card.
