Fantasy Football
I am just doing a rough survey to see if there is enough interest in a "competitive" fantasy football pool. It would be hosted by yahoo.
Instead of an entry fee, each guy puts up one card of their choice with an approx. value tbd. Im thinking somewhere between a 25-$50 value. Each guy would post up his card at the start. Winner gets all the cards. Details can be discussed if guys want a 1-2 payout. I will also be doing a free yahoo pool as well. 10 teams works the best for both pools. I know it is early, but with the schedule being released, it got me thinking (yes i know that is hard to believe) today... only 4 and a half months til the season starts!!! tell me what you think!!!!

I would like to do it, problem is I don't do cards, I do vintage sports ephemera. Suggestions?

I am sure something could be worked out.... the pool would be a majority rules kinda thing... i would have no problems accepting a nice program of some sort. The one thing i would say to anyone thinking about this..... The card/ item would be the participants choice based on the chosen value, and doesnt have to be any specific sport or player.... My only stipulation would be similar to the ones the board uses.. It should be Pre-1980 unless the participants agree to accept something newer. (ie a Brady rc or A. Peterson rc)

lmost go time!!!
OK boys, I just got word that sign up for leagues start June 3rd. I will get the league sign up going.
It will be the ten teams. Entrance fee is one $50 or so card payable to the winner. It will be a yahoo league so have your YAHOO id's ready! Keep your team names similar to your Net54 name so we know who is who. the guys who posted above will be automatically in, they will be sent the info first and then the remaining spots can be filled by whomever sends me a message and claims the spot. Draft order will be random as chosen by Yahoo. It will be a live draft with as late a start time as possible (for PST guys like me) and as close to the season start as possible so your players don't get injured after you draft them.

OK boys, Fantasy football is up and we can now sign into our league....
we have 6 people in already i believe but we need 10... if you are interested in signing up, send me a PM and i will give you the league info... The only cost is: one card, $50 approx value, your choice, payable to the winner!!!!! It will be an online draft Sunday Sept 5th @ 9:30 eastern
