Default Reprints, a bit of history?

Since reprints come up occasionally, I figured I'd show one I bought a long time ago. Between 1978 and 1981 or so, probably closer to 78/79.

Between the "trimming" and the fake staining, whoever produced it was way ahead of their time.

It would be interesting to me to learn a bit about this one other than its being a reprint. Who did them, how many different ones were made, anything.

I picked up these reprint postcards awhile ago at a local antique mall for around 3 dollars each. I do not like reprint cards at all, but I really liked these photos, and I plan to frame them for decor. They are oversized 1974 TCMA reprint postcards ( I am not sure what they are reprinted from, maybe just the photos themselves?)..........

I dont mine reprints or "counterfit" cards on ebay unlike most collectors. There are alot of fans who would like a item that looks authentic without refinancing there house to purchase it. My ruel of thum for a ungraded card is to bid on sellers who have a minn. 500 feedback and are close to 100% + .
