Fake CJ Counter Display on Memorabilia Board
Did you guys happen to see the thread over on the Memorabilia board regarding a fake Cracker Jack display offered on ebay? Here's the link to the ebay item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT It seems like a very good fake. The creator obviously made this item to deceive using the image of the CJ poster sold by REA. You can read more details over on the memorabilia side.

but what is worse
What is worse is that I have been in contact with the seller (an honest guy, I believe) and one of the buyer's friends. After everything was pointed out to the buyer he is STILL holding a glimmer of hope that it's still real. Oy......
I advised the seller to sell it to him as a reprint, if he must have it, and accept no returns. I guess the buyer can't see or something.....
