Hello Everyone,
Does anyone else collect old autographed newspaper or magazine clippings of baseball legends? I think they are neat because the pictures tell a story that you don't get with cut autographs or signed baseballs. I also like some of the action shots. I've posted a few pictures below. So far I've picked up about twenty autos like these and would like to add some more. I would like to see some of your examples. Thanks, Joe |

Thanks Mark. I picked it up in an Orser auction in the early/mid-90's.

I always worry and shy away from newspaper photos that are signed...just too worried that they will yellow etc. Here's one I do have that I picked up in the 80's

Incredible autographs, Jon and Mike. Thanks for sharing. It certainly is true that paper will yellow and breakdown quicker than cardboard, but while they last they have the advantage of being unique items.
Here is one of Jim Palmer that my wife really likes. Best wishes, Joe |

I don't have any signed newspaper clippings, however, it seems they can be purchased at a great price compared to a baseball, card, or glossy photo.
