Sorry if I'm late to the game on this - but I was wondering when Beckett started grading B18's?

Hmmm! As somebody who recently started collecting these, I would imagine they would be a nightmare to grade and cause lots of problems.
10 people polled would probably have 10 different strategies to grade them. People would swear to see trims where there are none and visa versa. What if one strand is missing or frayed on the edge. Do you dock it one grade? Two? Does it get knocked back down to an "Authentic"? I can understand why grading companies won't touch them. I just collect them based on aesthetics. I've got some beaters and trimmed ones no doubt. |
