Hi everybody,
First, I would like to take the opportunity to say hello -- this is my first post here -- I've been reading the board for a few months, and it's nice to finally write. I thought it would be interesting to note that REA posted on their blog yesterday that they will be auctioning a T206 Wagner (PSA 1) this April. http://www.robertedwardauctions.com/blog/index.php I find it somewhat amusing that they've decided to name it (The Connecticut Wagner)...but the story is at least interesting. (One point to note is that the consignors do not remember the name of the gentlemen that sold them the set. Maybe I'm just a little detail crazy, but I keep records of every card I buy, including the person I bought it from...) Question -- why would the PSA Cert Verification say "T206 unknown back" when the back is clearly identifiable? http://www.psacard.com/Cert/31641776.html Good to be here, Steve |

the card was probably graded before psa started labelling the back...hence when they updated the cert registry back shows up as "unknown", and label only shows t206 instead of t206 polar bear honus wagner.
edit: winner of the card will be getting a deal...card was graded before the half-grading. rob should put psa 1+++++ in title. Last edited by chaddurbin; 01-10-2010 at 11:16 PM. |

Cert check states unknown back because it was graded prior to PSA identifying backs on the flip.

I'm just shocked that Rob knows the grade of the card.
