I saw that auction as well and I noted that same Cobb - if I recall correctly, it was up on Ebay not too long ago, maybe 2 months? I think the eye portion was discolored due to erasing or something along those lines.

Default Forget the black eye you can get

"INTACKT" Tax Stamps "AND THE SOLIFANE STILL ON THE PACK" - even better if the bid is not as high as the seller wants they will cancel the auction 12 hours before it ends!!!!

Pretty decent cards though, just some "miner" creases.

Default Sommerset Velvet (or vice versa)

had the black-eyed Cobb card for sale several times as a BIN, each time with the price going down. Don't know if the seller is another entity for them, or they bought and repackaged.

Looks like Cobb didn't listen the first time

Yes there are several cards like eberfield NY, cobb (black Eye), and mathewson black cap, that I bid for on ebay but lost. 100% sure they are cards I have seen on Ebay before. Probably looking to see what he can get before realizing he is better of selling them individually. Shouldn't he put a reserve on them if that is the case

Supprised he didn't say there was a possible Wagner or Plank in there.

Also is there a T206 in those packs???? I would like to know this for myself

"is it my imagination or is Cobb's eye black on this t206?"

No it is not your imagination, I sold this exact Cobb about a month ago in a SGC Auth holder due to the card being recolored in his eye and a possible trim on the bottom border. The trimming is irrelevant, as the card is definitely recolored, altered.
