While studying the exploits of the 1910 Columbia Blues, (they finished last in the South Atlantic league), I found that 10 of the 13 Columbia players pictured on T210 cards, were either released or traded before the season ended. One died of heart failure before the end of August. Other players came and went throughout the season. Maybe this was typical of a struggling team?
