I am not responding on the Show Us thread that you started because I want to respect your wish for a non debating thread.
I'm rooting for you, and I wish you luck ... better luck than I had back in 1990. They were all good people, but the community at that time were mostly of the ... Don't ask, don't tell, Ostrich mind set ... "I really don't want to hear about it, and if we don't talk about it ... it might go away." Precisely what the thieves want you to do. It's almost 20 years ... I hope that the community has graduated to the stand up and fight level. Joe P. |

After reading a couple of the follow ups in your Show Us thread, I'm afraid that I have some distressing news ... the don't ask, don't tell Ostrich mind set, is alive, and well in 2009 ... not only that, they don't understand what a non debate thread means.
![]() However, there is a plus side. A few more like yourself, have joined the fighters for the hobby in 1990. Not a bad group by the way, people like Lew Lipset, Larry Fritsch, Mark Macrae, and a few others. The questions are being asked. If you don't ask the questions ... you won't get any answers. No one is accusing any one! ... But if the shoe fits??? Why are some people afraid of the questions? Are they afraid of what might be found out? |
