Jackie Robinson Magazine Editor
Just picked up this issue of Our Sports Magazine- a short lived publication where Jackie Robinson is listed as the editor and was devote to black sports. The feature article is a story regarding the willingness of the Yankees to bring a black player up to the bigs. Jackie Robisnon states that he has sent the best investigative reporter he can to "tell the truth as he saw it" While I tend to doubt that Jackie had quite so active a daily role with the mag isn;t it amazing that he was willling to put he name on an article covering the most hot buton issue of the day while still an active player. Just think, Todat we cannot even get a player to really talk about steriods
