"Bat Chewing Tobacco" Tin - Is is old?

I found this at a 'flea market" yesterday here in Vancouver, and assumed that it was a repro or something. Any thoughts? Thanks! chris

it is old 30s or 40s, but that price is pretty high IMO

They are 1930s, made by Rock City Tobacco in Quebec. I've got a few different styles you can check out when you're next over
