This forum should be amended to pre-1990 in my opinion as the 1980s were sort of the NBA's heydays.

Thanks Leon....the 1980's Fleer sets and Star Cards will probably get a lot of discussion here since they are the target of counterfeiters. Also how can you have a Basketball forum that would be for the most part devoid of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson????

for basketball I agree, and I do not think anyone here would mind if we talked about them. The Celtics are big talk around here in Boston, so lets pick up some more 1980s cards - Maybe a Reggie Miller RC?

I would say pre-1990, which would include the Fleer 1980's + the controversial Star company 1980's cards also.
