Any idea as to what happened between Swann and Topps to get him exiled? Not only did they not print his card after '77, but the Team Leader cards switch from "Rec'g Leader" to Kickoff Returns. |

I'm not sure it was Topps' decision..it probable was Lynn's. Earl Campbell and John Stallworth also went through similar boycotts. |

That would make sense- some players did appear on the Team Leader cards through the late 70's without having their own cards; mostly defensive line guys. Swann strikes me as some Maury Willsian feud. |
