Here's the story: I'm choosing to HOPEFULLY (if all works out) buy the land next our home as a surprise to my wife and kids for Christmas. Nice 1/2 acre of flat land with a couple of trees. I don't think we could afford this otherwise, but in my mind I'm choosing the land over cardboard for the time being. Investment....fun for the kids....and this means no one can park a house next to our house in our little cul de sac.
