1939 PlayBall Set for sale - All SGC graded

Dear All

I am offering for sale, an entire 1939 PlayBall set that is in SGC holders.

At a high level, there is only 1 card from the low number portion that is less than a 5 and a good many of the high numbers are at the 5 and above level. Approx 78% of the set grades above EX. The overall breakdown is as follows:

VG = 4 cards (2.5%)
VGEX = 10 cards (6.2%)
EX = 22 cards (13.7%)
EX+ = 13 cards (8.1%)
EXMT = 48 cards (29.8%)
NM = 53 cards (32.9%)
NM+ = 7 cards (4.3%)
NMMT = 4 cards (2.5%)

The Dimaggio and Williams are graded EX-MT and EX respectively.

The 46 high number cards are EX or better 72% of the time with the full breakdown as follows:
VG = 4 cards
VGEX = 9 cards
EX = 12 cards
EX+ = 4 cards
EXMT = 7 cards
NM = 8 cards
NM+ = 1 card
NMMT = 1 card

On Ebay someone recently sold a lower graded set WITHOUT the Williams and DiMaggio cards for $2,750 (see link) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120211240354&ssPageName=STRK:MEDW:IT&ih=002

Additionally, this partial set was a mix of SGC graded and raw with only 16% of the set at the EX-MT or above level compared to my set which is at 70% EX-MT or better.

That someone was me. I had the Williams(30)Dimaggio(10)they would have pulled the overall grade down. Ron you have a beautiful set, best of luck with it.
