MattThe Story
I bought this card as a VG/VG-EX from a seller. It came back from SGC with the large group I put up for sale on the BST a few weeks ago with a notation it was trimmed/altered. The seller claimed since SGC verified the card is authentic, he doesn't have to refund my money, and I've spent the last 2 weeks trying to resolve this with him, but to no avail, so I am selling it to try and cut my losses. I guarantee the card will be slabbed by PSA. I believe what SGC saw is the stain on the front left side and they believe the card was trimmed there and then rebuilt. The card measures full size, has no creasing and I have provided high resolution scans below. PSA may just see the left side as a stain and give the card a 3.
Bottom Line
You get an authentic 1933 Goudey Gehrig #92 which looks like it is in VG+ condition, for the price of a card in poor/fair. $500 delivered (insurance optional) to the first person to email me saying they'll take it.
