Default off topic (my apologies) anyone from Chicago?

Posted By: John Barnes

Hello group
I am visiting my friend in the Military who is stationed in Great Lakes, IL
we are going to try and go to a Wizards/Bulls game on Dec 2, 2006

Looking for lower level tickets for a reasonable price, figured someone on here might know someone, have season tickets themselves, or the like. thanks in advance! heapfan@yahoo.com

At least in the old days, Great Lakes had a college football team. I had a wirephoto showing them versus Notre Dame.

I live and work not far from Great Lakes. Its right on Lake Michigan and thats the only reason I can come up with as to why they put a Naval base in Illinois! I think it might be one of only a few naval training bases left in the country.....at least thats my understanding. My Dad graduated from there in 1950 or 51.
