Default Minor League pinback help

I am in the process of adding this to my Scranton/Wilkes Barre collection. I have never found one like this and and assuming it is pretty hard to find. My guess is 1940s. Any advice on it and possible value would be a great help.

Thanks

According to the records the Scranton Red Sox were in existence from 1939 to 1951. There is a similar pin, "Lancaster Red Sox." I placed the value of the Scranton pin at $15 in my book. Minor league pins are scarce, but generally only certain teams or leagues (i.e., PCL) command high prices. Your pin is a classic design for baseball pins of the era, similar to the famous crossed bats design.

Hope this helps.

Paul
