I wonder if a group of Texas Tommys will be coming up in a Memory Lane auction? |

Sports cards are a legitimate part of a portfolio--certainly have been and my sense is will continue to be a better investment than real estate. |

Still fun to look at all those rare beauties even though those Texas Tommys seemed out of place. Thanks for the link Bruce! marty |

At least they correctly pegged the T206 Wag as his rookie. Cards such as his E107 which also made the list aren't actually real and are only a figment of the imagination of major auction houses. You will however be able to purchase these cards (granted to can stay awake long enough to not be outbid) probably very soon. Honestly it looked like they took three or four obvious choices and then threw darts to round out the list. |

Awful but given that Memory Lane PR machine was involved I cannot expect much more. |

I thought the Wagner that sold for 2.8m last year had recently sold for 1.8 to a guy in Ok or somewhere in the midwest, or was that another highend Wagner out there ? |

Without going back to the article, as it really is a wasted read, they could have at least been technically correct and said the "Wagner" was in the shape it is graded at, Nrmt-MT........yes, drivel |

I actually don't find those cards aesthetically pleasing, so I don't want them. I can understand the appeal of rarities, and I don't have any problems with anyone who fancies them, I just feel fortunate to truly not want them! |
