Charles Bray Collection

I see these PSA graded Charles Bray t206s pop up every so often. I know a bit about Bray, but don’t know much about the actual “collection.”

How many t206s were in it?
Did they all go to PSA at the same time?
Why was it broken up?
Who sold the collection?
Is there any extra value to having a Bray?
Anything else of interest about the Bray t206s...

This is only an opinion as opposed to a fact, as I haven’t done any research to see if those cards designated with the Bray collection moniker actually sell for more than the cards that are the same but are not from his collection, but for me personally they are not worth any more. I think some people would pay a little extra for them, but I’m not one of them.

I would and do pay a premium for Bray, Nagy, and Carter collection cards. Dimitri Young collection not so much, call me old fashioned.

I always get a kick when I see tobacco cards from pioneers such as Bray, Nagy and Carter, who came around when cards had no value, had the pick of the litter and wouldn't you know it decided to pass on all those 7s, 8s and 9s they could have had.
