As a collector of Exhibits, I have seen many 4-in-1 cards that were cut into four pieces. I've actually put together a nice collection of them, but I realize they aren't worth much. But today, I came across a series of BIN listings on eBay of 4-in-1 singles that, according to seller, "were distributed as smaller single cards." He calls them "rare" and is asking from $100 to $300 each. Do such cards exist? Or are they simply 4-in-1 cards that were cut apart? |

Not as far as I know just sounds like a sales pitch to me and the market values them as such. Granted I saw GAI graded one, geepers. |

If you are talking about the PC backed set, it shares images with W517 (including caption lettering--which is in the same hand) so someone could mistake a W517 mini as a cut from a 4 on 1. Also, with regard to the very first group of 4 on 1s issued (the ones with the handwritten labels), some cuts have been mistaken as strip cards. See my site for more info and some examples. |
