I have a set of Topps 1988 cards.. How can I find the value of these cards? What constitutes a Rookie Card does it have to be designated as such on the card or would it be his first major league play in 1987 in this case?

Are you looking to sell?!

The best place to post your question would be on the post-war side of the board, but even they usually do not go much past 1980 with issue dates.

Check eBay completed auctions. My guess is it won't go for much more than $15, but you will get a better idea there. Best of luck.

To the original poster, I think you might be "Paul". Please be careful of where you post your questions. This part of our Net54 Vintage Baseball Card Forum is for Pre-WWII Baseball cards only.....We do have another side for post war baseball cards.....and welcome to Net54....take care

Wow, did you see the closing price on that set? 99 cents!!! The S/H charge was $13.75. Why can't I find prewar stuff that cheap?
