Although I am not a high grade collector, those cards are quite impressive. Thanks for sharing! |

Maybe it's the scans, but it looks like there is chipping or rough cuts on the left and right sides of each card. Especially on the right side of the Merritt. |

I don't think PSA penalizes cards for rough cuts. I had a 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie that was rough cut across the colored top border which chipped the color all across the edge and they still graded it a PSA 8. |

Both of these cards are slightly off on registration as evidenced by the thin yellow and blue lines on the cards, meaning the color overlays were slightly out of alignment. Does PSA allow for this on a 10? |

that's the first thing I noticed too. Registration is off, and shows not only on the cards' outer edges but on the photo insets as well. Each card also displays some snow. Nice cards though. |

Peter - if that is your hygienist, I really need to have my teeth cleaned soon! Since the New Year is upon us I will make a resolution to have my teeth cleaned more often - really much more often. |

I can post some more scans here if wanted, of some 9's, etc. I will post scans of the great tens in a week or so when they are out of the vault. I'll post some of those that have bumped from 9 to 10, too. Peter, yours are not 10's, that are 40's plus. Happy New Year. |

PSA does not down grade for the deckling on the edges, nor do they for the color registration being off. It is fascinating as all the green bordered AA's we have cracked open have this same registration problem. The other colors generally do not. We have received the highest grades on the green and the orangish border colored cards. The red borders and the yellow borders are the hardest colors to achieve high grades. |
