I find the (multiple) threads on politics on this board absolutely enraging -- like the worst trolls hit the board and won't let go until after election day.

I come here for pre-war baseball card information, not to hear why people think Obama or McCain are or aren't good for the country.

While I think "how will the economy affect the vintage baseball card hobby" is fair game, beyond that I would like to see people show more restraint in sharing their so-called values. It only breeds discontent and divisiveness.

Can I get a moratorium on politics? Or am I doomed to the typical response: "Hey, if you don't want to talk politics, you don't have to read the thread."
