T206 Cleaning Question

I recently purchased about 50 raw T 206's which would grade very good to excellent if not for a dirty yellow looking substance on the front of the card like a film maybe cigarette smoke. Has anyone here had any luck removing this sort of stuff without damaging the card or its value. Thanks Daryl
