Here I go again. I think I am a crook magnet or I have "STUPID" engraved on my forehead! I need some help, opinions, info. I have heard of board members contacting local authorities but I do not know who to call or contact.

Simply let him know that you are contacting lieutenant _____ of his local PD... Get the "interet crimes" officers name and forward it to the seller. This has been a positive motivator in the past for my scammer encounter. |

Is this something I can actually do? Because I have mentioned similar threats like this to him and he just doesn't get it. Dan |

Your local lawyer should be able to answer those question specifically, but if he can't, I think I can (I am in Washington DC)... message me here or at jsherman@semmes.com .. thanks! |

1) It is expensive and time consuming, small claims court is better but can still take some time. |

I do know that unfortunatley you do have to file in the person's district that they live in...it can't be as convenient as doing it where your at in Maryland Dan. I had a similar situation with a guy up in NY and once I called his local authorities and had a report filed I magically got my money back. |

Dan - I live in Tennessee and our TBI (Tenn Bureau of Investigation) has a Internet Crimes Division. Google and contact them online possibly and let the person know you will be doing this as well. This might freak him out that you know this and more importantly, the TBI in Nashville can probably help along with local authorities. |

Two months is too long. Four grand is too much. Trash away! I've only been taken once on eBay. Thanks in part to an overcropped scan, I spent $2500 needlessly. Stay away from any items offered by Heriberto Feliciano of Puerto Rico (eBay name thelegend21). |
