My impression of Kit is that he's a really big-hearted guy. He cares about his family, his co-workers, those near him. I'm sure he's devastated. And I know we all wish him well through this time.

I got a note from Kit, who sometimes frequents this board, and with his permission am posting this. Kit has been in the hobby since dinosaurs were babies and has so many friends I respectfully offered to post this to help in a small way and Kit accepted......


"I want to share the sad news that Patti passed away early Monday morning from a heart attack. It was completely unexpected..and shocking ...............Some of you who have already learned of this and have sent your heartfelt condolences; they are greatly appreciated.

Many of you have asked for specific info about our plans this weekend. We have arranged a visitation and gathering for Saturday, May 24 at El Camino Memorial Mortuary from 2-5 pm. The address is 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego (this is the Sorrento Valley location of the mortuary).

Thank you again for your concern for my family and me...believe me, it's a real comfort at this time.
