I sat there, praying for John to get his final three outs. Actually get a little emotional, wanting to see the celebration that ensues. |

My son and I watched this game (The KC broadcast) through the first 4 innings and then went outside to toss the ball around...we came inside just in time to see that Lester still had a no hitter going through 8 so we sat down and watched it. Many high fives ensued. |

"An unassisted triple play, a player hits for the cycle, a no-hitter, a player hitting over .400, another in early contention for the triple crown and Webb could win 25." |

Frank, there has already been a steal of home this year for certain. Either a Met or a Yankee did it in the last two weeks. |

HOUSTON (AP) -- Geovany Soto didn't get the automatic home run he deserved. Cubs manager Lou Piniella thinks he probably likes it that way. |

Congrats to the Twins for turning down a package which included Jacobi Ellsbury and John Lester for Santana instead shrewdly choosing the Mets and a punch and judy centerfielder and two mediocre minor league pitchers instead. Added to the off-season pickups of Mike .190 Lamb, Adam .210 Everett and Brendan .235 Harris, all starters, the new GM is off to a great start! (Sarcasm added). |
