This is a real nice postcard of Elmer Flick. But I was surprised by the price since the seller described it as trimmed. I know these are quite rare, but was anyone else surprised by the price? |

Not surprised - and I'm happy for the winner as he is a poster here. |

It's actually very high for a trimmed and creased card from that particular issue. For example, a beautiful untrimmed Lajoie from the same seller and from the same series sold for $380 a few weeks ago. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260212112730 . |

I think the price on the Flick P/C was fair for what it is. |

I agree with Dan, when it is rare and you are collecting it, who cares about the condition. Are you guys true collectors? Don't answer that. Adam, ur killing me again!!!! That was great! I will take all trimmed, creased written on, and sent through the coffee pot Washington Times cards anyone has to offer. Dan. |
