My recent submission to PSA of 1250 cards continued the pattern of all recent sizable submissions--about .2 to .4 of 1% altered(all trimmed). |

How many trimmed cards were you hoping for? |

Jim I am very disappointed, I thought you would trim the more expensive cards. Dan. |

I for one Jim don't put as much stock in what PSA says...I would venture a guess that quite a few of the PSA slabbed cards would in fact be deemed trimmed by SGC. |

For the record, I am kidding and not implying that Jim trims cards. He pokes at me in a friendly way sometimes and I am just poking back a little. Dan. |

I don't think Jim trims cards either...I just think he is a little delusional in thinking that few of his high grade cards were trimmed...now send them to SGC for crossover Jim! |

in referring to Tommie Reynolds (lifetime BA .226 with 12 home runs) as a "near HOFer" |

Hi Jim- that's an excellent result but I thought that PSA was not allowed to take a card already holdered and lower the grade. Aren't you are talking about their program of reexamining cards for half grade bumps? I'm confused. |

Obviously I am kidding about Tommie Reynolds although he was my starting left fielder for the A's in 1965 Strat-O-Matic. |

The 1933 Sport Kings set is my favorite from the 1930's. You have all 48 in PSA 8- that's really amazing. |

Hershberger and Landis played for the White Sox. I remember Landis because he was a centerfielder with a fielding rating of "1" |

Jim- Landis and Hershberger were on that 1964 White Sox. I guess they were both traded by 1965. Superstars they were not. |

January 20, 1965: Jim Landis traded as part of a 3-team trade by the Chicago White Sox with a player to be named later and Mike Hershberger to the Kansas City Athletics. The Chicago White Sox sent Cam Carreon to the Cleveland Indians. The Cleveland Indians sent Tommy John, Tommie Agee, and Johnny Romano to the Chicago White Sox. The Kansas City Athletics sent Rocky Colavito to the Cleveland Indians. The Chicago White Sox sent Fred Talbot (February 10, 1965) to the Kansas City Athletics to complete the trade. |
