Feb 17th sent him the $ that day, check was cashed weeks ago have sent him 4 e-mails and he has never responded nor have I gotten the card. Wondering if anyone knows anything that might be going on with him as I have not seen him post either?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Matt emailed me on the 6th and said the card was mailed. Well today 8 days later still nothing. I e-mailed him 2 days ago and no response. Also, if I may add 2 people e-mailed me when I posted this that they have not gotten cards from him either?? What the hell??

Don't want to pile on, but I'm having the same problem.

I bought a lot from him on 2/9. Mailed the check on 2/10. It cleared my bank on 2/21. I emailed him last week and he responded about being sick. Promised to get the cards out right away. 8 days later and still no cards. I emailed him yesterday and asked for tracking and/or delivery info. No response as of yet.

I guess Matt is on a busy schedule. Three weeks ago he said he would purchase a card from me. I also emailed him last week about the fact I haven't received a check yet and he said it was in the mail. It still hasn't shown up. Emailed him again two days ago and have yet to hear back. I guess I'll be relisting the card as to me three weeks is long enough to wait on payment.

For some reason the mail has been taking a long time to arrive from Matthew's post office. I have received two pieces of mail from him in the last month, and when I received the mail the postmarks were from 9 and 10 days earlier. . .

With all due respect, this isn't 9-10 days were talking about. My check cleared over three weeks ago. My check had cleared by the time he did Jim Manos' transaction. He already wasn't shipping on a timely basis. He should have told people he was behind.

If you read through this whole thread, Matt has told one person that he was busy at work, told the rest of us that he was sick with the flu for 3-4 days, and you're telling us that USPS is slow.

He came on a week ago and apologized. Fine. However, none of us is really sure that he has even shipped anything yet. Very concerning for a board member.

Failure to respond to emails and failure to respond to questions on the board, will make it harder for him to sell on the B/S/T. I don't know Matt, but I trust the opinions of Barry, Leon, and others who say he's a great guy. But he's dropped the ball on this one, with several people, on several transactions.

Well, Matt needs to get back to everyone ASAP then with confirmation #s. This is not only a post office issue, he never responds to anyone. I have a good friend who bought a D304 Marquard from him a month ago, no response at all. He really needs to get on this board TODAY and explain his lack of communication.

Matt's been on my mailing list for a number of years and I know we have done a few transactions without a problem. I do not know him personally.

My guess is since he came on the board once, he will do so again and explain what happened.

Edited to add I think he has bought from me in the past. It's hard to remember every transaction.

As a 99.9% lurker, this probably my 3rd post about Manos.
Why is he allowed on the board?
He adds nothing, subtracts a lot.
Only uses the free b/s/t section for his overpriced stuff (usually accepts 50% of the original sucker price).
No people skills, no selling skills.
Here I'm reading about what happened to a board member and again get sucked into his garbage, that I wouldn't let any kid read.
Come-on mods - clean him up or better yet wash him away.

Wanting scans, not replying after scans and want something for nothing. So I don't service people that cannot reply after I take the time to scan a card.

POPCORN, PEANUTS, IIIIIICCCCCEEEEE COOOOOLLLLLDDDD BEEEERRRR.......I love the way some of those beer vendors at games say ICE COLD BEER......For the record I have done many deals with Jim and all have been good. It's no rule you have to participate on the forum to participate in the BST area. It is a rule to do good ethical business over there....I hope Matt gets this straightened out pronto. I know Matt personally and still vouch for him.....but..... These slow sales are mistakes and really should be taken care of asap..Knowing Matt I think he will feel the same way..

Hello Guys-

I just got home from work... Here are scans of insurance receipts for Jim Manos, Mark Lutz and Stefan Wisinski packages sent March 6th morning. There are several more packages and letters that were sent this same day that are missing including Dave S's payment. It sounds like there is some foul play going on at my post office and first thing Monday morning I plan on going down there and figuring it out. I am really sorry to all that are missing packages!!! I am extremely frustrated myself and I hope my reputation isn't totally ruined over this.
