Question for those who know about the fake w551 strips that were made years ago...

I am not sure about who all remembers this or not but if you do a search on fakes they come up. I have seen a lot fo w551 strip cards in slabs that are fakes. There are a lot of w551 cards popping up on ebay and I think some are fakes.. I wonder if people had a lot of them and now bringing them out? Just curious anyone else know about the w551 fakes?
