Today seemed a good day for busting some slabs and liberating cards. |

is that they are always on top of the sleeve, I have popped dozens and never seen a card inside the sleeve. Don't know why, it seems it would give the corners much more protection. |

Maybe I just never paid attention to it before. But I thought the others were inside the sleeve. I might have to bust another to see... |

It has been my experience that the insert is not a sleeve that the card can go into, but in-fact a sheet. The card is always on top of the sheet if you're looking at the front of the card. |

The more recently graded cards on top. I think they are trying to avoid the wrinkled baggie look over the card front. |

For what is't worth, I just cracked out a 1912 Zeenut and it also rested on top of the baggie. |

Not just prewar, and not all that recent. I popped out a '49 Bowman last summer and it, too, was on top of the baggie. |
