Ricks rare cards, www.rarecards.com, has a 1933 Goudey #181 Babe Ruth SCD 8.5. What do you think it would crossover to in a PSA or SGC holder? And what do you think of the card? |

I believe the board consensus is that if it's in a SCD blue label, it's probably trimmed. The "red label" is from the old Sports Collector's Digest and seems to be more reliable then the blue labeled SCD. |

that Rick is smart enough to realize that if he could get it into a PSA 8 or SGC 88 holder, the card would sell for more money. |

Maybe it's just my eyes, but the entire right border and the top most section of the left border look a little wavy to me. I don't think the risk here is that it will either cross at a PSA 8 or 7, I think the risk is that it will either be a PSA 8 or an "A." |

IMHO, too good to be true. Are the borders of this issue that much wider top-to-bottom as they are side-to-side? None of mine are, although they are not in as great condition. |

If it's a red label 8.5, it might get a PSA-9 |
