Seller got these high priced cards from a widow, whose husband was killed in the recent war. Also has a Crackerjack Jax and several others. |

Not that this is it; but imagine someone tossing one for real up on ebay some day...poor soul no one will believe them no matter what story they tell. |

Yup, one of these days someone is going to go in to the attic and while going through their grandfather's trunk, find 6 cards, the 4 Cobbs, the Wagner and the Plank, and no one will ever believe him |

Funny thing is that there's at least a real card in the mix... the C46 Adkins. |

How is it these clowns only find, inherit, or get old, expensive cards like 1933 Goudey, T206, N, E, etc. cards--never anything like 1972 Topps Mickey Rivers? |

Had a guy come up to me at a show one time and pull out 2 cards. he said, i wonder if you could tell me if these are any good. I took them from him, guess what, Honus and Cobb. They had a crackle finish like he put them in a microwave or something. Obviosly coated cards from the making. Good by. |
