I have this item of a civil war general

a short of history gen np banks has 8 pages

shows to be printed in 1888 by dukes cigarettes

also need a idea on value it has no tears or ink

simple question. One of a set of 50. 40.-75. in vg-ex. 16 pages and facsimle autograph. Goes with generals album and larger sized general card from Duke HLC. Grant and Lee command a premium (in anything).

I had a collection of these a couple of years ago and do have a non sport catalog somewhere. They do not sell for more than $20 in the condition shown.

to buy out of a price guide? Maybe a few dollars less than I said but if you check the SELLING history the average is much closer to my guesstimate. Depends how many recently listed and whether they go to completing a set. I have sold a few sets over the years and have one now Shameless plug - looking to upgrade my Sherman......
