Can anyone tell me what issue this card is from? The design looks like a an e120, but the back is blank and the color is opposite of what it should be for a National League card. There is some sort of copyright mark above his left shoe. Card stock is thin almost as thin as a Cracker Jack. Is it a fake? Finally if it is not fake does anyone feel it is trimmed? Thanks. |

Have you got a black light. See if it fluoresces when illuminated. It looks ok. And it looks like a slightly mis-cut strip card. |

If this is a W573, and W573's were printed in vertical strips of 10, then why does this miscut show another card on the horizontal left side? |

I have a strip of ten at home, all vertical. I have seen quite a few other vertical strips too. My guess is that they were in fact printed on sheets then cut into vertical strips. They are very commonly found miscut, because as far as I know, all were handcut down to singles, when cut at all. One of my biggest issues with grading companies is the grading of handcut cards.....as there is no rhyme nor reason how they grade them.....so it seems. regards |

There is no printing press I know of (that would be used for a production run of cards) that can accept a sheet as small as those strips. There are minimum sheet size requirements. |
