Can anyone idenitfy Mr. Young? Is he even here? As an aside, the West Point team is on the flip side. Thanks for the help. |

I cant positively ID him, but, if he is pictured at all, my guess is he is the tall guy in the black sweater without any buttons. |

Strange, but nobody in that photo looks like Cy Young. How could that be? |

I agree with Barry that no one in the photo really looks like cy. |

Yeah Josh, that would have been my guess also. Not sure when this issue of Burr-McIntosh would have been released but if this many other players could have made it, I would have thought Cy would be there also. |

I can't spot Jimmy Collins either. Something isn't right. Is that the Boston Braves mislabelled "Champions"? |

The NL Boston team was lousy in 1904, so it would be a pretty good gaffe. Though it is not incomprehensible that the wrong photo was used back in 1904. |

This the not the NL team. Can't spot Cy or Collins, but the sixth guy from the left is definitely Candy LaChance. LaChance played for the Boston Americans team in '04. |

The Nat's had a colored brim. This is the Red Sox. Both teams wore similar jerseys, 'Boston' and drawstrings. |

Chick Stahl is best remembered for his suicide in 1907. He drank a bottle of Carbolic Acid. |

Seventeen members of the 1904 team have been listed in the previous posts. There are 16 guys in the picture, so maybe Cy is holding the camera? |

It looks to me like the 8th guy from the left right in the middle could be Cy. |

1st WS; This 1903 teams shot from Huntington Ave may help ID some. Cy, middle row, 6th from the L? (Honus always stands out) |

is that the guy you describe in the 03' photo as possibly being Cy has the most murky non-descript features of the entire line-up, and so does......the guy standing 7th from right in the 04' posted pic. |

Cy appeared to be a pretty big guy from the pics Ive seen. I dont think there is anyway the man with no face (7th from left in the top pic) could be Cy - he is too thin. |

I really think it's the guy that is 8th from the left. Cy would have been 37 in the picture and I don't think he really ballooned up in size until his last couple of years in Boston. |

If Cy is in the 1904 Burr Mc. Pic, My guess is the guy in the middle with glove (white jersey). |

I happen to be reading "Cy Young" by Reed Browning right now [kinda tedious.] Here is a picture of the team with Cy taken on October 10,1904. Cy is standing on the far right. I don't think he is present in the postcard above: |
