My son has 4 Bronze coins that apparently were made in 1972. "legends of Baseball" by someone named Bill Gallo. These is a Ruth, Cobb, Hornsby and Cochrane. Anyone know who made them, or how many, or for what purpose. They actually are kind of cool. Despite not being pre war. My son would appreciate any info you have. |

Bill Gallo is the elder statesman of tabloid sportswriters here in New York. He has been writing for the New York Daily News for many, many years. He probably designed these items, as he is also a cartoonist. A google search turns up several ebay hits for these coins. There should be some info in those item pages. |
